October 30, 2007 - "Are You Dead Yet?" is done! - Am pleased to share that this short film has been getting a lot of great comments. As suspected, more laughs than fear induced mayhem. I'm cool with that. The feedback thread is here: Feedback
October 26, 2007 - New Film - "Are You Dead Yet" - My good friend Wally and I wrapped shooting, with the help of our friend Kate W and the the editing process is now in my hands. Scariest film wins is the bottom line. Have been laughing so hard at some of the scenes that I know this film won't win under that set of criteria. Too Funny! Am calling it a new sub-genre: Western Comedy of Horrors. Lot's of fun.

January 2007: Update! The 7th International Short Film DV Contest is now concluded. Team Big Sprout had an absolute blast with new cast and crew Teri Caldwell, Timothy J. Frank, Kathy Wright and Wally Edwards. "Pickles and BlackJack" was a very risky film. Dark and delirious, it was a home run with the sick and twisted folks and a bomb for those who don't enjoy that flavor. lol.
There can be only one winner and it was Mike Teusch with a fantastic short titled, "Fading". Congrats Mike. Bravo!
